Unresponsive Dog Is Covered Up, Man Felt His “Last Breath” & Changed Plan

Every single life should be protected because it is priceless. no other international rescue group gets that more than Animal Aid.
They make it their job to aid any animal in need they can, despite their limited means. Particularly the animals that many people see as nuisances because they dwell on the streets.

That night, a report came into Animal Aid concerning a dog that had passed out in the street. He had sustained a serious neck wound, and it was rapidly worsening. Maggots were feasting on the poorly afflicted tissue. To put it simply, no one assisted him before his health deteriorated to this point. Plus, that's really inappropriate.

He had a lot of maggots in his wound, but the vets at the Animal Aid shelter had seen it all before. They handled the hapless dog with the utmost care. Carefully wrapping the puppy in a blanket, the volunteer led him to his car.

Back at the sanctuary, in the darkness of night, the dog lay there unconscious. He had gotten so feeble. But he was now surrounded by compassionate individuals with an advanced grasp of veterinary treatment. Overnight, the substance they put into the incision would poison the maggots without causing any discomfort to the patient. Antibiotics, hydration, and pain relief were all given via an intravenous line. The dog needed some downtime while the drugs took effect.

The canine looked and acted considerably better first thing in the morning. He managed to pull himself to a sitting position. The time has come to tend to his gaping wound. Once he was anesthetized, they got to work. Afterwards, a bandage was applied to the freshly cleaned incision.

The poor pup was feeling much better and wolfing down food. Gratified, he emptied the whole bowl into his mouth and began to eat. No one can say for sure when he last ate a complete meal. Not to mention whether he ever did! Incredibly humble and appreciative, he was a delight to be around.

After 10 days, this puppy has made incredible progress. Although the wound is still rather big, it has been cleaned and is no longer infected. The dog can get up and about now that it has some energy. The nurses and doctors are still changing the bandages on his wound often. To speed up the recovery process, maintain a clean environment. The doctors and nurses all agree that he's the "ideal patient."

The dog is very affectionate and enjoys regular walks. He thanks his rescuers by strolling quietly at their side. The benefits of his regular walks extend beyond his physical health. They're beneficial because they allow him to interact with others and receive some physical activity.

There was a marked decrease in the size of his wound by Day 20. And maybe even more! To see what love and modern medicine can do is really remarkable.

Many people would have chosen euthanasia for a dog in his condition. However, Animal Aid! Here's the dog, whom they've named Marshall. That grin is just stunning.

The dog is very active and enjoys running and playing. As often as he can, he visits his favorite people to say hi and collect his pets. Now that he's well and happy, he can't help but beam. This kid is exceptional.

Believe it or not, just some regular medication, some love, and some faith made all the difference in this world. YES! In a word, YES. It's for this reason why Animal Aid is so remarkable. If you have the opportunity, please watch the miraculous rescue and recovery of Marshall and spread the word so that others may be touched by this tale of hope. Animal Aid relies only on charitable contributions and the time and energy of volunteers who are rewarded only with the unconditional love of the animals they care for.
