There are still a lot of stray cats and dogs out there, which is wonderful because we all want all animals to find their forever homes and be showered with love.
Many of these animals are able to survive because of the generosity of strangers who provide them with food and shelter; one stray dog visits a fast food restaurant every evening for meals.
The homeless dog "Subway Sally" visits the boy's job at the subway sandwich shop every night in quest of food. Gio, a TicToc user from Mexico, introduced her to the world.
The workers are always eager to assist her.
In a TikTok video, Gio stated, "We constantly feed her."
For Sally, he makes a platter of cold cut turkey and bacon, which she enthusiastically consumes.
Gio says they need to feed their special customer quickly or she will go to the Taco Bell next door. This is really a kind thing to do for a stray dog.
On TikTok, Gio's video gained a lot of attention and has now received over 3 million views.
Many people had questions after seeing the footage, with some pointing out that the dog is too well-groomed to be a stray dog.
In a subsequent video, Gio gives Sally some food and says that although she is a stray, the "flower woman next door" enjoys grooming her, which is why she looks lovely.
He continues by saying that the nearest shelter is 20 miles away and also a high kill facility, so he hasn't taken the dog there.
Gio answered that he already has five cats, so adding a dog to the mix is not viable, and that it would be challenging to find someone else to adopt the dog because the region is low-income.
In the third video, Gio stated, "Our community has a lot of stray animals." My town is very underdeveloped. People frequently lack the funds necessary to purchase pet food.
It appears that Sally is also uninterested in being taken: Gio commented, "Several people have tried taking her, but she never wants to go. She probably has a regular spot to sleep and may even take care of her puppies, in my opinion.
Overall though, it's nice to see individuals doing what they can to assist stray pets.
Don't worry, my coworkers and I will continue to feed her, Gio replied.
