After a collie with a tumor was discovered abandoned in a filthy home, the owner was prohibited from owning pets.

The owner of a 16-year-old collie who left her dog in a filthy, trash- and feces-filled home with a big, oozing tumor on his side has been barred from owning any form of family pets for the next ten years.

At the Wirral Magistrate's Court on Thursday, Christine Daley, who lived on Selby Road in Wallasey, pleaded guilty to causing needless suffering to a dog by failing to examine and treat a swelling on his face and failing to meet the needs of a pet by failing to provide a suitable environment between October 1 and also October 25, 2016.

The Metro said that the fire brigade entered the abandoned house after receiving allegations of foul odors.

The collie was discovered there, lying on the sofa in a room that smelled strongly of ammonia and had trash, rotten food, feces, and other trash heaped up at least two feet high everywhere.

The RSPCA's Inspector Anthony Joynes described the incident as according to:

“The fire department smelled something truly solid and nasty through the letterbox as well as were worried that there was a carcass in the house, so they got entryway with the help of the authorities.

That’s when they found Timmy and also called us.

The house was gross, with feces in every area. It was tough not to step on poo because the carpet was so gross. Examiner Joynes declared, “It was among the most awful places I’ve ever before remained in.”

“Timmy was primarily making use of your home as a kennel and also a toilet.”

The report stated that there were flies everywhere and that Timmy might have died if he hadn't been saved in time.

The growth on the dog's face was removed as soon as he was taken to the vet, but the beloved dog's recovery took a very long time and was painful.

The silver lining is that Timmy has recovered beautifully, has been loved, and is now leading the comfortable and also relaxed existence to which all senior dogs are entitled.

Daley, 60, received a ten-year ban from owning any kind of animal in addition to an eight-week prison sentence with a six-month suspension and a $500 fine.
