Suffering in pain, older dog with mange healed.
A dog that had been left behind by his owner had been wandering and hungry for a long time. Fortunately, he had come upon a dog rescue squad.
We got a call that a very old dog was covered with scabs
hurting from mange, starving, but he was so gentle

He seemed to want to put his fading life in our hands
The dog is resting
The rescue team begins to check
We vaccinated him against rabies and other viruses
and began his treatment with anti-parasite medicine an cream
He seemed so pleased to be getting regular meals
He never turned down loving cuddles
He wasn't a big fan of his medicated baths
But he only wanted to be a good boy
His recovery would take time
