Sparkling recovery of collapsed and anorexic street puppy.
They responded to the call and arrived to find the dog laying still with his rear legs paralyzed from prolonged starvation. They then began the journey to save the dog.
We got a call that a young dog was unable to move
he was very thin and weak
He managed to wag his tail a little even though he was so ill
The dog begins to be checked for health
Distemper virus made him anorexic and weakened him with diarrhea
we gave him antibiotics to prevent secondary pneumonia
He didn't have any factures
But he had no strength or coordination to stand
by day 5 with good food and love , he was already improving.
day 7- we started to do light physiotherapy
Day 20- he was still wobbly but was bearing more weight
He still had no abltily to support himself
he so desperately wanted to hurry over to get love
so he tool his first steps alone
The dog is completely healthy, thank you very much to the rescue team
